Sneaks Workshop – Terms of Use

Sneaks Workshop is a brand operated by Sneaks Workshop LLC.

Last Updated: 01/16/2026

Welcome to Sneaks Workshop! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain how you’re allowed to use our mods, website, and related services. We’re keeping things casual, readable, and friendly — but still clear enough that everyone knows what’s what. By using sneaksworkshop.com, downloading our mods, or interacting with anything we create, you’re agreeing to these Terms.

We appreciate you being here, and we want you to enjoy our work, but we also need to protect it. So let’s go through everything in a straightforward way.

1. What Sneaks Workshop Is All About

Sneaks Workshop creates digital content — specifically mods for American Truck Simulator (ATS). These mods include custom parts, trucks, visuals, sounds, and other enhancements designed to improve your gameplay experience. Every mod we make represents time, skill, trial-and-error, and dedicated work. This Terms document covers:

  • Our website (sneaksworkshop.com)

  • Our store hosted by Shopify

  • Our downloadable mods and files

  • Any descriptions, images, and content we create

  • Communication between you and Sneaks Workshop

When these Terms mention “Services,” that’s what we’re referring to.

We’re not affiliated with SCS, ATS, or any official studio — we’re an independent creator making content for players.

2. Downloading Mods: What You’re Actually Getting

This section is extremely important, so let’s make it crystal clear:

When you download a mod, you’re not buying the mod itself.

You’re buying the right to use the mod.

Think of it like buying a digital ticket: you get access and the ability to enjoy what we made, but ownership of the mod, the files, and all underlying content stays with Sneaks Workshop.

So, when you download one of our mods:

  • You can use it in your own ATS game.

  • You can install and uninstall it as you like.

  • You can enjoy it however fits your setup.

But you cannot claim ownership or treat the mod like something you’re free to distribute, edit, sell, or re-upload.

Your permission to use the mod is:

  • Personal (just for you)

  • Non-exclusive

  • Non-transferable

  • Revocable

  • For private gameplay only

This is a casual Terms document, but we still need to get the serious stuff across: buying access to digital content is not the same as owning that digital content.

3. What You Can’t Do With Our Mods

We hate making rules, but there are a few that are absolutely necessary to protect our work and ensure the community stays respectful. So here’s the list of things you can’t do with Sneaks Workshop mods:

You may NOT:

  • Re-upload the mod anywhere — not on file hosts, forums, Discord servers, or websites.

  • Send the mod to friends, share it with your buddies, or “hook someone up.”

  • Sell, trade, or “swap” the mod for anything of value.

  • Edit the mod and redistribute that edited version.

  • Combine our mod into a pack that you release publicly.

  • Remove watermarks, signatures, or identifying elements.

  • Claim that you made the mod or tell others it’s your work.

  • Use the mod commercially (for servers, paid packs, etc.) without permission.

Redistribution is not allowed without explicit consent from Sneaks Workshop.

And “explicit consent” means a clear written agreement, not “well I thought it’d be fine.”

These rules aren’t meant to be strict for the sake of strictness — they’re here because digital content is easy to copy and easy to misrepresent. We need to protect it so creators can continue creating.

4. Updates, Support, and Long-Term Mod Functionality

This is another section we want to be completely transparent about.

Updates Are NOT Guaranteed

Game modding is unpredictable. ATS updates can break things. Tools change. Requirements shift. Sometimes mods work flawlessly for years, and sometimes one minor patch causes chaos.

Because of that:

  • We may update a mod whenever we choose.

  • We may stop updating a mod at any time.

  • We might release a new version, or we might not.

  • We might choose to retire a mod entirely.

  • We may charge for major reworks or re-releases.

  • We are not required to provide ongoing updates.

You’re welcome to hope for updates — most people do — and we try our best to maintain things. But you are not entitled to them as part of your purchase.

When you buy access to one of our mods, you’re buying it as it exists at that moment, not a promise of how long it will stay updated in the future.

This isn’t us being harsh — it’s just us being honest about how the reality of modding works.

5. Shopify & Data Collection

Sneaks Workshop does not collect or store your payment data.

Our store runs through Shopify, which handles:

  • Payments

  • Billing information

  • Fraud prevention

  • Checkout security

  • Device and browser analytics

  • IP-based fraud detection

  • Cookie usage

Shopify may collect information like your IP address, device type, browsing behavior, purchase data, etc., because that’s how their system works.

If you want to know exactly what Shopify collects, we encourage you to look at Shopify’s Privacy Policy. They handle all sensitive data, not us. We only receive the information needed to fulfill your order (like your email so we can send the download).

We don’t control Shopify’s policies, but we use their platform because it’s secure and trusted.

6. Website Use Rules

To keep the site smooth and safe for everyone, here are a few basic rules for using sneaksworkshop.com:

Please do NOT:

  • Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools on the website

  • Try to bypass protections, paywalls, or download gates

  • Attempt to hack, break, or interfere with any part of the site

  • Upload harmful code, viruses, exploits, or anything destructive

  • Try to reverse engineer the mod files

  • Attempt to access hidden or restricted areas

  • Impersonate Sneaks Workshop or any staff

  • Spam support or misuse contact channels

Breaking these rules may result in being blocked from the site or losing access to purchased content.

7. Ownership of Content

Everything we create is ours — straight and simple.

This includes:

  • Mods

  • Models

  • Sounds

  • Visual assets

  • Textures

  • Previews

  • Descriptions

  • Branding

  • Website content

  • Updates

  • Tools or code used to build parts of a mod

You don’t own any of this, and you don’t gain ownership by downloading or purchasing the mod. What you’re receiving is permission to use the mod, not the mod itself.

You’re granted the right to use the mod — but the mod itself remains our property.

This is the heart of how digital licensing works. The work stays ours, and we’re sharing it with you so you can enjoy it in ATS.

8. Mods Provided “As-Is”

We thoroughly test our mods, but modding is a creative and dynamic field. We can’t predict every conflict, glitch, or unusual game setup. So you agree that:

  • Mods are provided as-is

  • Mods may have bugs

  • Conflicts with other mods may happen

  • Game updates may break functionality

  • Fixes may not always be available

  • Performance can vary depending on hardware and software

  • Results may differ from player to player

We do our best, but we can’t promise perfection.

9. Refund Policy

Sneaks Workshop sells digital files, which means:

All sales are final.

Once a file is downloaded, it cannot be “returned,” so refunds generally aren’t an option. The only exceptions are:

  • A purchase error caused by a system glitch

  • A duplicate order

  • A legal requirement in your region

Beyond that, refunds are not issued. If something goes wrong or you need help, feel free to contact us — we’re always happy to assist.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sneaks Workshop is not responsible for:

  • Game crashes

  • Mod incompatibilities

  • Data loss

  • Performance issues

  • Issues caused by other mods

  • Problems resulting from ATS updates

  • Hardware or software problems on your end

  • Any damages beyond the amount you paid

If something breaks, we’ll try to help, but our liability is limited to the cost of the mod.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to outside websites (like Shopify, SCS, etc.). We don’t control these sites, and they have their own terms and rules. We aren’t responsible for anything that happens on those platforms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We can update or change these Terms at any time. When we do, the “Last Updated” date at the top will change. If you continue using the site or mods after updates, it means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms follow the laws of the region where Sneaks Workshop operates. Any disputes or claims will be handled in the courts located in that area.
